Seven Towns, international Rubik’s licensor and rights holder, has just send me through the formal press release information on the Rubik’s 360. I’ve summarised the content in this post. They also send some more press shots which I have also included for your viewing pleasure.

Some more pictures showed up on the web. Also understand that there was some form of press conference today where the Rubik 360 was demonstrated. I guess we’ll know more tomorrow.

Quick post to let you know some additional information about the launch event. As quoted in the telegraph article, the Rubik 360 will be announced at a toy fair in Germany – the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg – on the 5th of Feb.

To say that I have been waiting for this day for years is an understatement. 32 years ago I got the Rubik’s Cube as a xmas present and played with it until it drove me mad. The Rubik 360 will do the same and i cant wait. The formal launch will be on 5th Feb, and it will go on sale in August.
